Muscle Twitching
People have often been experiencing muscle twitching or also known as fasciculation and sometimes get anxious about its cause and what probable diseases they might have gotten. In order to better understand it, we will define what it really is and understand it more.
Muscle twitching usually occur around the eyelids, in the arms, legs and in the hands but there are people who experience it in their entire body. Twitching takes place when the muscles are at rest and disappears when the affected area is moved and sometimes recur when at rest again. It is clearly visible under the skin although it does not impair one's action or activity.

Other causes of muscle twitching may include loss of electrolytes (particularly magnesium deficiency), Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in some rare cases, Parkinson's Disease, Lyme Disease and many more. If you are very anxious about your condition, consult your neurologist right away.
